Woodland Retreat

This bright retreat in the woods was a custom-built project for out-of-state clients. The backyard pool and landscaping around the home were carefully coordinated with the lot environment in mind. We also opted for a multi-step sub-slab drainage system to ensure the building’s longevity. The home’s layout allows for minimal heating and cooling bulkheads on the lower level. Inside, the home features extensive use of tiles throughout wet spaces, including the laundry. We used found materials to craft a custom handrail and mantle for a unique touch. The entire home is wired for remote management and monitoring.
