Who We Are
Mission
Bring glory to God by providing premier construction services to our community.
“Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms. If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.”
1 Peter 4 10-11

History
When a fire destroyed one of Pine Creek Farms’ primary production facilities in 1989, third-generation egg farmer Doug Gritter took his passion for woodworking and ran with it. “I looked at the fire as God’s sign to retire from the egg business,” Doug said. “So I decided to give Pine Creek Construction a go as a full-time operation.”
The new business continued to grow and develop, and in 1992, Pine Creek Construction hired its first employee and expanded to include new home construction. “Many builders leave their remodeling work behind to concentrate on new home construction, but I think it is a good business decision to maintain a diversity,” said Doug. Over the years, Pine Creek has maintained that diversity, offering new home builds, interior and exterior remodeling, additions, and high performance/energy efficient home building.
“Making things happen and turning dreams into reality gives our crew a great deal of personal satisfaction,” said Doug. “We all enjoy seeing people who are thrilled with the work we do for them. It is especially gratifying when people who brought us their remodeling project or ‘dream home’ sketched on a napkin can walk through that dream home which we turned into a reality.”
Doug’s son, Matt Gritter, continues to represent the family as the sales manager, now that Doug has retired and turned the company over to new general manager, Bill Beckman.
“It’s an honor to take what Doug and his family have built and continue that tradition of quality collaboration with our clients, trade partners and our team. We look forward to continuing to serve the lakeshore community by earning the trust, confidence and respect of those looking to build their vision.”
